Aniseed milk

For 1 cup of aniseed milk

Ingredients

  • 240 ml (1 cup) of almond milk – or another vegetable milk of your choice
  • 1-2 drops of Physalis star aniseed essential oil
  • 1 teaspoon of honey (if you want your drink to be a little sweeter)

Equipment

Steel pan and (if desired) an electric milk whisk

How to make your aniseed milk

  1. Heat the vegetable milk in the steel pan until the milk becomes hot, but make sure that it does not boil. Remove from the stove.
  2. Add 1-2 drops of star aniseed essential oil.
  3. Add a teaspoon of honey for extra sweetness, if desired.
  4. Stir well with a spoon until all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. If you want your milk to be frothier, use an electric whisk.
  5. Pour the milk into a cup and enjoy this delicious and heart-warming drink.
