Sleep well drink with essential oils

Sleep is super-important for everyone. During sleep, your body recovers from the stresses and strains of the day, both physically and mentally. Sleep ensures that you can start each new day well-rested and with a clear mind. Unfortunately, in our busy modern world many people sleep badly because they feel anxious and nervous. As a result, they feel sleepy during the day, which has a negative effect on their mood and performance. For this reason, it is important to feel calm and relaxed when you go to bed at night. Since ancient times, a number of aromatic plants have been famed for their relaxing effect and can help to promote this feeling of tranquillity by eliminating the sensations that cause worry, stress and anxiety.

Essential oils can help you to rediscover your natural sleep rhythm in a safe and effective manner. Inhalation or a massage with essential oils with relaxing and sleep-inducing properties can be a very effective remedy for combating some sleep disorders.

What’s more, essential oils can also be ingested for internal use. For this purpose, we have developed a simple but highly effective formula, with the added bonus that aromatherapy is never addictive.

Formula for a good night’s sleep

  • Orange EO: 2 drops
  • Scot’s pine EO: 2 drops
  • Cinnamon EO: 2 drops

How you do it: Dilute the essential oils in a tablespoon of honey and add this to a cup of warm (vegetable) milk or a herbal infusion. Drink this half an hour before you go to bed. This mix can also ensure a relaxing atmosphere in your bedroom if sprayed in a diffuser.

Aromatherapy is not addictive, whereas some sleeping medication can lead to addiction problems.
