The inhalation of moist, warm steam is an excellent way to soothe an irritating sensation in the nose. What’s more, it also dilutes the mucus in your sinuses, so that they become looser and you can breathe more easily. Add to this the power of essential oils and it is clear that you have the ideal solution for a blocked nose and sinuses.
Wild mint and eucalyptus: a golden combination
Wild mint is highly rich in menthol and is used above all to help free a blocked nose, so that you can once again breathe more easily.
Eucalyptus oil is perhaps even better known for easing nasal blockages and contains a high concentration of 1,8 cineole (also known as eucalyptol). The oil has been used for centuries to soothe or alleviate conditions affecting the airways and also strengthens the body’s natural resistance.
