Physalis Omega 3 forte contains the polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids EPA (36%) and DHA (24%) with a natural EPA / DHA ratio of 1.5. Proportionally, our daily diet provides us with too much omega-6 and too little omega-3. That is why supplements containing EPA and DHA are highly recommended. DHA contributes to normal brain function and good vision. EPA and DHA both help to preserve normal blood pressure and triglycerides level (the beneficial effects are obtained with a daily dose of 3 g and 2 g of EPA and DHA respectively).
