Physalis Omega 3 ultra contains the polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids EPA (48%) and DHA (32%) with a natural EPA / DHA ratio of 1.5. Proportionally, our daily diet provides us with too much omega-6 and too little omega-3. That is why supplements containing EPA and DHA are highly recommended. DHA contributes to normal brain function** and good vision**. EPA and DHA both help to preserve normal blood pressure* and triglycerides level (the beneficial effects are obtained with a daily dose of 3 g and 2 g of EPA and DHA respectively).
